Metal Gear Solid V Updated On PC, Metal Gear Online Officially Launched

Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain, the latest entry of the series developed by Hideo Kojima and his team , has received a new update a few hours ago on PC . The new update doesn’ t add the infamous Chapter 3 to the game, but adds a feature that PC players have been waiting for since the game’ s launch

The new Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain 1 GB update adds the online portion of the game , Metal Gear Online. Even those who haven ’ t participated in the beta from last week have received the update , making Metal Gear Online’ s launch on PC finally official.
In order to get more players to enjoy Metal Gear Online, Konami is offering an interesting incentive . All those who play at least one match between today and January 26 th will be able to receive a 3000 Gear Points bonus to help them customize their characters’ gear style.

Metal Gear Online’ s launch on PC is only the beginning, obviously . Metal Gear Online Community Manager Robert Peeler has also confirmed that MGO will receive new features through updates as well as additional content just like the console version .
Given the right platform , the right game , any player can be shaped into an online player .
The Beta has officially concluded and the game is now available for launch .
We took in a lot of feedback and made a few key adjustments. After some initial hiccups we ’ re going forward guns at the ready. However that doesn’ t mean we ’ ve stopped development , quite the contrary. Just like the previously released console versions of MGO , we ’ ll be integrating new updates to the game to improve the experience and add content .
Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox 360 , Xbox One and PC . Metal Gear Online is also finally available on all formats.
